We’ll take it step by step, at an easy pace. Here is what you’ll practice:

  • Using props to adapt poses so they’re comfortable.

  • Listening to your own body and pacing.

  • Hearing pose names in English, but you’ll hear a Sanskrit names here and there.

  • Starting with gentle warm-up poses.

  • Working step-by-step, at an easy pace, on poses that improve strength, flexibility, balance, calm, and focus.

  • Stopping to ask questions about the poses.

  • Using simple breathing techniques.

  • A short, relaxing meditation at the end of each class.

  • Learning occasional tidbits about the Eight Limbed Path of Yoga.
